Baldi Hot Springs
Organize you day to take advantage of our 25 different thermal water pools, surrounded by rich and varied local vegetation, the singing of birds, jacuzzi for 60 persons, the largest sauna of the country, extreme water slides, and more.
Is a great option for families with kids. It does have a bit of a party atmosphere and the pools are all man made, but my kids loved this place! There are three crazy water slides There are lots of man made hot springs of various temperatures, some with music, some with swim up bars, and at the top there are some quiet peaceful springs with mosaic beds. You can book the hot springs with a meal at the buffet restaurant as well.
EcoTermales Fortuna
Is one of the smallest of the La Fortuna hot springs. It has four pools of varying temperatures and one with a waterfall. These are natural pools and the gardens are beautiful. Entrance is limited to a 100 people at a time to allow for more privacy. Dinner is available as an add on. These hot springs are highly recommended. Eco Termales Hot Springs has 3 sessions per day: 9:00am-1:00pm, 1:00pm-5:00pm and 5:00pm-9:00pm.
Paradise Hot Springs
This is lovely place , large pool with a waterfall and several smaller, secluded pools, surrounded by lush vegetation and tropical blooms. The pools vary in temperature (up to 40°C), some with hydromassage. Paradise is much simpler than the other larger spring settings, but there are fewer people, and your experience is bound to be more relaxing and more romantic.
Tabacón Hot Springs
Is one of the pricier hot springs in the area. It offers several natural springs and waterfalls of varying temperatures. There are hot pools and cool pools in a beautiful natural setting. There are also natural streams with hot water to relax in. In total, there are five different springs that exist throughout the property, with temperatures ranging from 25 degrees Celsius (77 degrees Fahrenheit) to 50 degrees Celsius (122 degrees Fahrenheit). There are two main branches to the thermal river that flow through the gardens, and one cold river spring that flows down from the rainforest in the back area of the Temazcal
Los Laureles Hot Springs
Los Laureles Hot Springs is the smallest hot spring facility in the Arenal area. A favorite of both locals and visitors alike, Las Laureles is low-key and unpretentious. It does not offer luxurious amenities, but it is both affordable and relaxing. It has a large cool pool with a waterslide and two hot spring pools. The grounds are nicely manicured and host an assortment of tropical plants.
Free Hot Spring | Chollin
The thermal heated Tabacon river, which heats the springs at the famous Tabacon Resort, continues to flow past the hotel property, making this pleasantly steamy river accessible and free. Bathers will be treated to warm waters and stunning rainforest surroundings. This is a great option for those on a budget or who don’t want to be bothered with large crowds and pricey entrance fees.
